Health data
Consumer health data privacy policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Some things families log in Ramp Up Athlete are health information. This policy explains what they are and how we handle them. It adds to our privacy policy.
What health data we collect
- Injuries and pain (body part, dates, notes).
- Daily arm feel, sleep hours, energy and water.
- Height, weight and growth rate.
- Mental check-ins after games (how in control and how much fun it felt, and any notes).
- Videos and photos, which show a person’s body, and the body-position measurements from video checks.
Where it comes from
From the parent, or from the child in Player mode on the parent’s account. We don’t get health data from anyone else.
Why we use it
To decide whether a player should throw or pitch, to warn about overuse and growth spurts, to show progress, and to give video feedback. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
- Coaches of a team you add your child to: pitching-safety status (which can reflect an injury) always; growth numbers and mental check-ins only if you turn each on.
- Our hosting provider, which stores it for us under contract.
- Anyone you choose to send it to with the Share button.
We do not sell health data and never use it for advertising.
Consent
We collect health data only with your consent, given when you set up your family, and share it with a coach only with your separate consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the entries, turning off coach sharing, or asking us to delete your account.
Your rights
You can confirm whether we hold health data about you or your child, see it, get a list of who we shared it with, and have it deleted. Email privacy@rampupathlete.com. We answer within 45 days. If we deny a request you can appeal by replying; if we deny the appeal you can contact your state Attorney General (in Washington, atg.wa.gov).
